It’s not everything. I’ll walk straight past the Lamborghinis. Gauche. Self-made, and of precisely what, one can never be sure. Ferraris, Minis, Studebakers, E-Type Jaguars – they’ve all been seen and done before.
My classic cars – those eclectic chariots I’ll lift my camera for – are those cars that transported me when I was little, when I was a youth, then a young man. And after that, a man who perhaps is not so young any more. They’ll be the cars whose curves, edges and colours made my eyes pop. Some will be downright quirky. Others have cemented their place in history in transporting ordinary people to faraway and tough places.
They’re my classic cars. It’s a small selection. I hope you enjoy it.
